All About The 2025 Armada

Primed for off-road adventures and outfitted with cutting-edge technologies to enhance connectivity and convenience on every journey, the all-new 2025 Nissan Armada revitalizes the full-size SUV segment.

With the PRO-4X grade available for the first time, drivers can feel even more assured when venturing into the great outdoors.

It capably transports outdoor gear with an 8,500-pound tow rating and effortlessly manages cross-country road trips with ProPILOT Assist 2.1 hands-off driving assistance.

AND it’s on sale soon!

CAPABLE IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS

The all-new 2025 Nissan Armada has been engineered for enhanced capability in almost every situation.

Compared to the previous model, its new frame boasts 25% greater torsional rigidity and a 57% increase in lateral stiffness, which contributes to a smoother ride and better sound insulation. These improvements lay a solid foundation for the Armada's debut of the PRO-4X grade.

Standard with Intelligent 4WD7, the Armada PRO-4X features mechanical upgrades such as an electronic locking rear differential, Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension, 20-inch wheels fitted with 275/60R20 all-terrain tires, a metal underbody skid plate, and a distinct front fascia redesigned for a better approach angle.

Numbers don't capture the entire picture, though, as the PRO-4X is equipped with various technologies designed to make navigating challenging terrain easier.

With eight selectable drive modes (Standard, Eco, Sport, Tow, Snow, Sand, Rock, Mud/Rut), the PRO-4X adjusts vehicle systems to enhance performance for the chosen situation, while Hill Descent Control aids in regulating speed during downhill travel.

An Off-road Information Display includes an inclinometer, slip indicator, and steering angle indicator.

Innovative camera technologies significantly enhance visibility around the PRO-4X: The Invisible Hood View aids in detecting obstacles by offering a virtual perspective "through" the engine bay.

The Front Wide View delivers a broad-angle perspective to the front, while the 3D Around View® Monitor8 enables the driver to "rotate" the viewing angle on the infotainment display, allowing for the detection of obstacles and hazards from nearly any angle.

In keeping with the iconic look of other Nissan PRO-4X models, the Armada PRO-4X features numerous Lava Red accents, including functional tow hooks, lettering on the wheel caps, and an accent element on the D-pillar.

The visual distinction is further enhanced with LED fog lights, black fender flares, black-painted mirror covers and roof rails, a black-painted front grille, and unique PRO-4X-themed interior accents.

CONTROL AND CONFIDENCE THROUGH ADVANCED ENGINEERING

Under the hood of the 2025 Nissan Armada lies a twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 engine. This VR35DDTT engine is rated at 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, offering an impressive increase of 25 horsepower and 103 lb-ft compared to the V8 in the previous Armada.

It boasts the highest standard horsepower among its competitors (excluding hybrids and EVs). The engine incorporates several technologies to enhance efficiency, such as Idle Stop-Start and mirror bore coatings in the cylinders to reduce friction.

The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, providing two additional forward speeds compared to the previous Armada for better acceleration and cruising efficiency.

It features a 40% wider gear ratio range than the former 7-speed transmission, allowing for quicker upshifts.

The 2025 Armada boasts a standard towing capacity of 8,500 pounds, equipped with a Class IV tow hitch and a 7-pin harness/pre-wiring across all models.

The PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve models enhance this with an Integrated Trailer Brake Controller.

A new feature for Nissan, the standard Trailer Blind Spot Monitoring10, alerts drivers to vehicles in blind spots even while towing.

Drivers can simply enter the length of their trailer (up to 33 feet) to set up the system.

The PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve models also include Load Leveling Air Suspension, which enhances ride comfort and handling.

This system offers various ride heights based on the situation; it can lower at higher speeds to boost aerodynamics, and when parked, it can drop by 2.0 inches to facilitate easier access for passengers or cargo loading.

Designed For Adventure

The all-new 2025 Armada boasts an adventure-ready design with a commanding presence and increased ground clearance.

It offers an impressive visual impact with robust proportions, while maintaining carefully controlled surfacing on its bodysides.

The all-LED exterior lighting delivers breathtaking illumination at night and a distinctive visual signature, featuring an optional full-width LED tail lamp.

2025 Armada comes with a choice of 20- or 22-inch wheels. The rear wiper is ingeniously "hidden" at the top of the windshield, providing a sleeker look while enhancing rear visibility.

At the front, a functional air curtain integrated into the front fascia directs air around the front wheels, boosting aerodynamic efficiency.

The 2025 Armada is available in a stunning color palette, featuring Alpine Metallic, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Coulis Red Pearl, Aspen White Tricoat, Everest White Pearl Tricoat, and Deep Ocean Blue Pearl.

A two-tone roof treatment is available on the Platinum, PRO-4X, and Platinum Reserve models, with a Super Black upper body paired with Alpine Metallic, Gun Metallic, Coulis Red, Aspen White, or Everest White.

Lined Inside With Form & Function

The All-New 2025 Armada provides exceptional comfort inside its cabin, featuring premium materials, thoughtfully integrated available technologies, and significant enhancements in space for both passengers and cargo.

The dashboard merges tactile physical controls with expansive, high-definition screens to maximize functionality.

The 2025 Armada SL is equipped with dual 12.3-inch screens (one for the instrument cluster and one touchscreen for infotainment), while the PRO-4X, Platinum, and Platinum Reserve models upgrade to dual 14.3-inch displays for an improved user experience

A physical rotary dial allows for effortless control of the vehicle's drive modes, and physical push buttons manage the 9-speed automatic transmission.

Finely crafted touches are available, such as open-pore wood finishings, 64-colour ambient lighting, and quilted leather seating.

The driver enjoys a commanding viewpoint—the highest driver's eye point in the segment—providing a confident view of the vehicle's surroundings.

The first row includes standard heated seats, with optional cooling, massaging, and 12-way power adjustment features.

In the second row, you can choose between a bench seat with a 40/20/40 split function or captain's chairs with a center console, depending on the grade level and configuration.

Additionally, the second-row seats can be heated in the Platinum and Platinum Reserve Grades.

Standard on the Platinum, Platinum Reserve, and PRO-4X models, Biometric Cooling11 employs a roof-mounted infrared camera to identify overheated passengers in the front and second rows, directing additional cooling air toward them.

To better accommodate families, the Armada's interior spaciousness has been enhanced in several key areas.

Front-row legroom has increased by 4.2 inches compared to the previous model, while the third row sees an impressive 5.7-inch boost in legroom.

The 2025 Armada also provides more cargo space across all seating configurations, allowing drivers to carry more essentials for work, leisure, or the daily commute.

Cargo space behind the third row expands by 24%, or nearly 4 cubic feet, reaching a total of 20.4 cubic feet.

Behind the second row, it grows by 6 cubic feet to 56.3 cubic feet, and behind the first row, it increases to a total of 97.1 cubic feet.

A standard power liftgate and a motion-activated liftgate (available on Platinum and higher trims) simplify access to the cargo area.

Inspiring Technology

As with all Nissan vehicles, the 2025 Armada incorporates advanced technology to enhance the experience for everyone on board.

One of the most immediately noticeable features is Google built-in, which brings familiar apps—Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Play Store—directly to the vehicle's dashboard. This seamless integration offers up-to-date navigation and entertainment apps without the need to connect a phone.

Across all 2025 Armada models, wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™ come standard.

The cabin is equipped with six USB Type-C ports, along with a standard wireless device charger located in the center console.

To deliver a rich and immersive sound experience that complements its bold and imposing capabilities, the Armada comes with a standard Klipsch® Premium Audio system.

It includes 12 speakers, featuring a DualPower® subwoofer, and delivers 600 watts of power.

The 2025 Armada employs advanced camera technology to help drivers confidently navigate parking lots, urban areas, and even off-road environments.

This includes a 3D version of Nissan's Around View® Monitor, an Invisible Hood View, and a Front Wide View for seeing beyond parked cars, buildings, or other obstacles.

Driver Assitance Features For Everyone

The all-new Armada introduces three distinct levels of driver assistance technologies designed to enhance the convenience of road trips or even the daily commute.

ProPILOT Assist 1.112 comes standard across all models, merging Intelligent Cruise Control with steering assistance to help drivers maintain their lane and a set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead.

To further enhance the driver assistance experience, ProPILOT Assist 1.1 utilizes navigation data to proactively adjust vehicle speed for curves, interchanges, and other driving scenarios.

Exclusive to the Platinum Reserve Captain's Chairs is ProPILOT Assist 2.1, Nissan's most advanced driver assistance technology.

It enables attentive drivers to remove their hands from the steering wheel during single-lane highway driving, while the system manages acceleration, steering, and braking.

A map of roads compatible with ProPILOT Assist 2.1 is available here.

The 2025 Armada also features a comprehensive suite of safety technologies across all models with the standard Nissan Safety Shield® 36013.

This includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, along with Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention, and Intelligent Lane Intervention.
